GIANTS Netball is delighted to announce that Sarah Wall has been made a permanent replacement player until the conclusion of the 2017 Suncorp Super Netball season.

Wall, who joined the squad as a temporary replacement player in Round 7 following a season-ending injury to Club Captain Kim Green in Round 5, has fitted in well to the GIANTS environment and is enjoying her time with the team.

Speaking to GIANTSNetballTV, Wall said she was looking forward to what the second half of the season would bring.

“This team is a very close bunch that’s part of a big picture plan,” she said.

“You can’t ever replace Kim Green, who is very much a part of everything we’ve been doing to date and been helping me settle in, but it has been an awesome experience for me.”

Wall played in the trans-Tasman Netball League with the NSW Swifts (2014), Queensland Firebirds (2010) and Melbourne Vixens (2009 & 2011) – winning a Premiership with the latter in 2009 – and is delighted to be back in the elite environment.

“It’s just great to be a part of this level of netball. I am taking one training session at a time… and am really happy to play any supporting role for the team.”
