‘WIN THE ULTIMATE DERBY EXPERIENCE’ PROMOTION

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. The ‘Win the Ultimate Derby Experience’ Promotion commences 5:00PM AEST Wednesday, 17 April 2019 and closes 9:00AM AEST Tuesday, 23 April 2019 (Promotion Period).
  2. Entry is open to all current 2019 members of GIANTS Netball with access to Round 1 and fans who have purchased a ticket via Ticketek to The Derby: GIANTS v Swifts on Sunday 28 April 2019 at Qudos Bank Arena, who are Australian residents, are eligible for the promotion.
  3. To enter, eligible entrants must ‘Tell us in 25 words or less why you and a friend should be upgraded to the courtside The Derby Zone at Round 1’ during the promotion period, by completing the online form at giantsnetball.com.au. A maximum of one (1) entry per eligible entrant applies during the promotion period.
  4. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating outlets and the agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible and will not be included in the random selection to determine a winner. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent.
  5. The winners will be determined at Netball Central, 2 Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW 2127 on Tuesday, 23 April 2019.
  6. The winners will be judged by the General Manager, Marketing, Communications and Events and Marketing Manager of GIANTS Netball, based on the 25 words or less provided as to why the entrant should be upgraded.
  7. The promotion consists of one prize draw at 11AM AEST Tuesday, 23 April 2019. The total value of the promotion is $2,280.00 AUD.
  8. Six (6) winners will be determined and each winner will receive two (2) passes, which upgrades their seat and a friends seat to the courtside The Derby Zone, at the GIANTS Netball v NSW Swifts game on Sunday 28 April 1pm at Qudos Bank Arena. Winners will need to redeem the prize at the GIANTS Netball v NSW Swifts game on Sunday 28 April 1pm at Qudos Bank Arena. Details of where to collect the passes will be made available to the winners prior to the GIANTS Netball v NSW Swifts game on Sunday 28 April 1pm at Qudos Bank Arena.
  9. Winners will be notified via phone/email within two (2) business days of the prize draw and the winners details published on http://www.giantsnetball.com.au/
  10. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize or any part of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that part of the prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  11. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  12. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  13. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees and the Promoter (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or death; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion or accepting or using the prize.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of identity prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. Prize winner may be required to sign any form required by the Promoter including without limitation a legal release and indemnity form or a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the prize.
  15. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter and their associated agencies take no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
  16. Should an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
  17. Prizes and participation in the promotion are subject to any conditions imposed by the supplier or organiser of the prizes, as applicable.
  18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, Eligible Entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

2019 GIANTS Netball Dress Presentation competition

Terms & Conditions

The Competition commences on Thursday 21 March 2019 and is open to all financial GIANTS Netball Members.

This competition is a ‘game of skill’ and entries will be judged on creativity & originality. The best ten (10) entries will be chosen and they will win the opportunity to present a GIANTS Netball team member with their 2019 playing dress at the GIANT Day Out event on Saturday 30 March.

The winners will be contacted directly via phone and email on Thursday 28 March 2019. The winners will need to transport themselves to Netball Central by 2pm on Saturday 30 March. The winners will be provided with a contact person and phone number to confirm their arrival.

It is up to the winners to make their own way to/from Netball Central. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the winners can’t attend another winner will be drawn.

“Dress Presentation” PROMOTION
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. The ‘Dress Presentation’ Promotion commences on 3:00PM AEDT Thursday, 21 March 2019 and entries close on 10AM AEDT Thursday, 28 March 2019 (Promotion Period).
2. All entrants, who are Australian residents, must be financial GIANTS Netball Members for the 2019 Suncorp Super Netball season. Prize draws outlined in clause 6.a., and 6.d. are an exception to this and these prize draws are only open to entrants, who are Australian.
3. Eligible entrants will receive one (1) automatic entry in the draw. Limit of one (1) automatic entry per individual applies to each prize draw.
4. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating outlets and the agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible and will not be included in the random selection to determine a winner. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent.
5. The winners will be selected by impartial GIANTS Netball staff at Netball Central, 2 Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW 2127 on the dates outlined in Clause 6. Prizes will be mailed to the winners, unless a suitable alternative for delivery is agreed upon between the Promoter and the winner.
6. The promotion consists of ten (10) prize draws, drawn as outlined in Clause 6, from 21 March to 29 March 2019.
Prizes are as follows:
a.  Drawn 10AM AEST 29/03/2019: One (1) prize draw will determine ten (10) winners who will receive the opportunity to present one (1) GIANTS Netball team Member with their 2019 playing dress.
7. Winners will be notified via phone/email within two (2) business days of the prize.
8. The order in which the ten (10) winners will present the dresses will be at random. Winners will not be able to choose who they present the dress to.
9. Tickets, flights, accommodation and transport costs incurred in use of or in association of prizes are not included and are at the discretion of the winner.
10. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize or any part of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that part of the prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
11. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

This competition is a ‘game of skill’ and entries will be judged on creativity & originality. The best entry will be chosen and they will win one of the following prizes: one GIANTS Netball Family pass to 2019 Suncorp Super Netball Round 1 game valid for 2 adults and 2 juniors, or one of three prize packs which includes a GIANTS T-shirt, beanie, scarf and bottle.

The winners will be announced and advised by Facebook Messenger, Wednesday 5 December 2018.

It is up to the winners to make their own way to/from the game venue. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the winners can’t attend another winner will be drawn.

Weekend in Canberra

The Competition commences on 26 June 2018 and is open to people 18 years and older.

This competition is a ‘game of skill’ and entries will be judged on creativity & originality. The best entry will be chosen and they will win accommodation for the Saturday, 30 June night and two tickets to the Round 9 GIANTS Netball v Adelaide Thunderbirds netball game on Sunday 1 July 2018 at AIS Arena.

The winners will be announced and advised by Facebook Messenger, Friday 29 June 2018. The winners will need to transport themselves to Canberra and check in after 2pm on Saturday 30 June in at the Novotel.

It is up to the winners to make their own way to/from Qudos Bank Arena. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the winners can’t attend another winner will be drawn.

The Competition commences on 12 June 2018 and is open to people 18 years and older.

This competition is a ‘game of skill’ and entries will be judged on creativity & originality. The best 2 entries will be chosen and they will win 2 seats (known as the Hawaiian Airlines Best Seats in the House) at the GIANTS v Magpies netball game on Sunday 17 June 2018 at Qudos Bank Arena.

The winners will be announced and advised by Facebook Messenger, Friday 15 June 2018. The winners will need to be at Qudos Bank Arena by 12.20pm on Sunday 17 June 2018 at the location that will be advised in the winner’s message.

It is up to the winners to make their own way to/from Qudos Bank Arena. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the winners can’t attend another winner will be drawn.

The winners will also have the opportunity to compete for Return Economy Flights from Sydney to Honolulu for 2 People at ¾ time during the GIANTS v Magpies netball game on Sunday 17 June 2018 at Qudos Bank Arena.

“GIA’s GIANTS” PROMOTION
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. The ‘GIA’s GIANTS’ Promotion commences on 10:00AM AEST Thursday, 7 June 2018 and entries close on 4PM AEST Friday, 15 June 2018 (Promotion Period).
2. All current 2018 members of GIA’S GIANTS, who are Australian residents, are eligible for the promotion and will be included in the random selection to determine a winner. Prize draws outlined in clause 6.a., and 6.d. are an exception to this and these prize draws are only open to current 2018 members of GIA’S GIANTS, who are Australian residents aged 12 years of age or older.
3. Eligible entrants will receive one (1) automatic entry in the draw. Limit of one (1) automatic entry per individual applies to each prize draw.

6. The promotion consists of four (4) prize draws, drawn as outlined in Clause 6, from 7 June to 15 June 2018. The total value of the promotion is $ 100 AUD. Prizes are as follows:
a.  Drawn 4PM AEST 15/06/2018: One (1) prize draw will determine one (1) winner aged 12 years or older who will receive one (1) signed A2 GIA Poster.
b. Drawn 4PM AEST 15/06/2018: One (1) prize draw will determine one (1) winner aged 12 years or older who will receive one (1) signed A2 GIA Poster.
c. D Drawn 4PM AEST 15/06/2018: One (1) prize draw will determine one (1) winner aged 12 years or older who will receive one (1) signed A2 GIA Poster.
d. Drawn 4PM AEST 15/06/2018: One (1) prize draw will determine one (1) winner aged 12 years or older who will receive one (1) signed A2 GIA Poster.
7. Winners will be notified via phone/email within two (2) business days of the prize draw and the winners details published on www.giantsnetball.com.au
8. By signing up as a 2018 GIA’S GIANTS member you agree to the Terms of Conditions of GIANTS Netball memberships found at http://www.giantsnetball.com.au/2018-membership-tcs/ and the Netball NSW Privacy Policy found at http://nsw.netball.com.au/inside-netball-nsw/about-us/privacy-policy/
9. Tickets, flights, accommodation and transport costs incurred in use of or in association of prizes are not included and are at the discretion of the winner.
10. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize or any part of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that part of the prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
11. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
12. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
13. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter and (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or death; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion or accepting or using the prize.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of identity prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. Prize winner may be required to sign any form required by the Promoter including without limitation a legal release and indemnity form or a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the prize.
15. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter and their associated agencies take no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
16. Should an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
17. Prizes and participation in the promotion are subject to any conditions imposed by the supplier or organiser of the prizes, as applicable.
18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, Eligible Entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

All personal information you provide will be used by GIANTS Netball and Netball NSW in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at http://nsw.netball.com.au/inside-netball-nsw/about-us/privacy-policy/ and may be disclosed by GIANTS Netball and Netball NSW in accordance with the Privacy Policy (including for promotional and marketing purposes). By providing your personal information, you agree to such use by GIANTS Netball and Netball NSW.
20. The competition is governed exclusively by the laws of Australia.
21. The Promoter is New South Wales Netball Association Limited (Netball NSW) ABN 19 001 685 007. Netball NSW’s registered office is located at Genea Netball Centre, 2 Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW 2127. Any reference to Netball NSW refers to New South Wales Netball Association Limited.
