How does the Finals Series work?

The Major Semi-Final will be contested by the two teams who finish 1st and 2nd on the Repel Sport Ladder at the end of Round 14. The team that finished 1st will host the Major Semi-Final. The Minor Semi-Final will be contested by the two teams who finish 3rd and 4th on the Repel Sport Ladder at the end of Round 14. The team that finishes 3rd will host the Minor Semi-Final. Venues, dates and times are TBC. The winner of the Major Semi-Final will host the Grand Final, with the loser to host the Preliminary Final. The winner of the Minor Semi-Final will progress to the Preliminary Final, with the loser of the Minor Semi-Final eliminated. The winner of the Preliminary Final will progress to the Grand Final, and the loser will be eliminated. The Grand Final will be played between the winner of the Major Semi-Final and the winner of the Preliminary Final.

Where will the Grand Final be played?

The Grand Final will be hosted by the club that wins the Major Semi-Final.

When can members purchase tickets for the Finals?

Team members will have access to a pre-sale purchase from 9.00am – 5:00pm on the Monday prior to the match. Netball family members will have access to a pre-sale purchase from 9:00am – 12:00pm on the Tuesday prior to the match. Where can I buy tickets to the Grand Final?

Grand Final tickets will go on sale as per the following: Competing Club Members – Monday August 20, 9am – 5pm AEST Netball Family Members – Tuesday August 21 , 9am – 12pm AEST General Public – Tuesday August 21, 12pm AEST until sold out

How many members’ tickets are available?

Netball Australia has worked closely with the venue to ensure a similar allocation of tickets are available to members as per the regular Suncorp Super Netball season. Please note it is expected that the ticket allocation will exhaust quickly, therefore it is recommended that members be ready before the pre-sale period officially opens.

How many general public tickets are available?

What age qualifies for a child ticket?

4 – 16 years (inclusive). Patrons under the age of 4 are free (sit on knee).

What qualifies a concession ticket?

Concession tickets are available for holders of Full Time Student, Pensioners and Seniors Cards.

What qualifies a family ticket?

A family ticket is 2 adults + 2 children, or 1 adult + 3 children.

Where will the Finals be broadcast?

You can watch the every Final live and free on Channel 9 HD (check your local programming guides) and streamed live on the Netball Live app. Telstra TV will also have on-demand replays of every final available at least four hours after the completion of each match.

What if I miss out during the members’ pre-sale for tickets?
